CAMPpro FC transfers trio to NPFL clubs in milestone move

CAMPpro Football Club has marked a significant milestone in its development with the transfer of three of its standout players to top-flight Nigerian clubs.

Founded in 2019 by Godfrey John Okoh and officially registered in 2024, CAMPpro FC has steadily built a reputation for nurturing young talent while making an impact on its community. Competing in the Nigeria National League (NLO), the club topped its group in the 2025 season to qualify for the playoffs, narrowly missing out on promotion but reinforcing its status as a team on the rise.

The club’s commitment to player development is already producing notable success stories. Former player Christy Ucheibe, who featured in its women’s programme, now represents both Sport Lisboa e Benfica Women and the Nigerian national team. This season, three more talents have stepped up to higher divisions.

Winger Jofrank Istifanus has completed a move to Nasarawa United FC in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), while Ayanlola Joshua Omobolaji has joined Kun Kalifat, newly promoted to the NPFL. Club captain Godfrey Joseph also secured a switch to the top flight, underlining CAMPpro’s growing reputation as a feeder club for elite Nigerian sides.

The current squad continues to draw from both youth and experience, featuring former NPFL striker Sibi Gwar and midfielder Lordson Ichull, who bring depth and leadership to the team.

Under the guidance of head coach Okoh Sunday and team manager Gift Dada, CAMPpro FC is maintaining its balance between ambition and purpose, with an eye on future promotion while inspiring the next generation of footballers in Abuja and beyond.
