Lagos to host Open Darts Championship tomorrow

Lagos State Dart Association will host a two-day Open Darts Championship at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere. The event will hold tomorrow and Tuesday.

Expected to feature all darters across the state, the tournament facilitated by the Lagos State Sports Commission, according to the association is aimed at discovering/exposing, sustaining talents, as well as improving darters’ intellectual and motor skills.

It added that the competition was designed to identify new prospective darters with the intention of providing specific training and mentoring experience, fit for purpose.

The association said the event is to drive a new generation of athletes to live their dreams and also represent the state in future national and international competitions.

Registration for the championship begins tomorrow morning.
