MFM boss sure of victory against Abia Warriors
Coach of Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC, Tony Bolus has assured their fans that the club will come out top at the end of tomorrow’s encounter against Abia Warriors in the Match day five of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). The match is slated for the Umuahia Township Stadium in Aba, Abia State.
The Olukoya Boys remain unbeaten after four games, and they have been ruthless on the road, recording two straight wins.
The Lagos-based club are currently third on the table of the NPFL, with two wins and two draws. Their host, the Ochendo Babes, are occupying eighth position on the log after a victory, two draws and a loss also in four games.
Speaking with The Guardian yesterday, Bolus said he had put behind the draw they played against visiting Warri Wolves a few days ago after they achieved two wins away from home.
“We have put behind us a game we should have won at home against Warri Wolves, and we are forging ahead in our next away match against Abia Warriors on Sunday. I believe this is going to be a tough one for us knowing the pedigree of our opponent at home.
“We take every match seriously regardless if it is away or at home. There are no pushovers anymore in the league, but we are definitely going to put our best to ensure we come out victorious against our opponent come Sunday. Our fans should expect the best from us as we also expect them to support us.
