Still smarting from their opening day 0-2 defeat by Enyimba in Aba, former runners up, MFM Football Club of Lagos go into today’s Week Two game of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) sure of getting their first three points of the season.

Although some of their top performers have left for greener pasture elsewhere, the Olukoya Boys believe they have the weapon to gun down Kwara United in the Group A game billed for the Agege Stadium.

Ironically, the MFM gauntlet is being championed by former Kwara United forward, Michael Ohanu, who has pledged to gun down his erstwhile employers.

Ohanu, who spent three years at Kwara United, joined the Olukoya Boys from El-kanemi Warriors during the transfer window.

“We lost that match, so we are determined to put in our best and work very hard to win this one in our home.

“Kwara United drew their last home game and they are coming with everything to make sure they get a point here, but I believe in what our coach has said, the encouragement and the hard work we have been putting together. So I believe we will come out victorious,” he said yesterday.

Apart from the Agege Stadium, NPFL games will hold in other venues across the country with Niger Tornadoes hosting Rivers United at the Bello Kontagora Stadium, Minna.

In Group B, Abia Warriors are at home to Go-Round FC at the Umuahia Township Stadium, FC IfeanyiUbah will host Nasarawa United in Nnewi, while Heartland will play their first home game in Owerri against Plateau United, just as El Kanemi Warriors will host Kano Pillars in Maiduguri.
