NFF wants Rohr to submit programme this week
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has urged Super Eagles Manager, Gernot Rohr to submit his programmes for the Cameroon 2019 African Nations Cup qualifier against South Africa in June and the road to Russia 2018 World Cup elimination matches against the Indomitable Lions this week to enable it begin the last phase of preparations for the games.
NFF Secretary General, Mohammed Sanusi told The Guardian, yesterday, that the friendly match against Senegal has helped the Eagles’ boss to discover new players that would beef up the existing squad, adding, however, that it was important Rohr liaised with the federation to chart the plan for successful prosecution of the matches.
He added that the programme would also give the federation a clear guide on how to help the technical crew to achieve its set goals ‘because all hands must be on deck to ensure the Eagles excelled in the AFCON and World Cup qualifiers this year.’
He said: “The NFF cannot do anything now until Rohr sends his programme to the board. When the coach submits his programmes, the board will then know what to do to for the success of the team.’’

The NFF should concern itself with sourcing for funds, and making sure coaches and players are paid, as and at when due. All this anachronistic “submit your programme” deceives the public into believing they are busy. The NFF knows what it should be doing, and not give the impression it is up to Gernot Rohr.
We will review and take appropriate action.
