Four teams are expected to arrive in Abuja today for the North Central zonal elimination of the Seventh National Male and Female U-17 Cricket Championship.

According to the North Central Zonal Representative on the Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) board, Oludare Aimola, the states, Kogi, Kwara, Niger and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), are expected to begin registration for the tournament today in time for the competition scheduled to hold from today to March 1, 2026 at the NCF Twin Ovals, Package “B”, MKO Stadium, Abuja.

He said that 14 players and two coaches will represent each of the three North Central states and the FCT.
