Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has declared that most of the players that featured in the 2018 World Cup qualifier game against Zambia in Ndola, would be picked for the Algeria showdown in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state next weekend.Rohr stated that there would not be changing of roles of players in the qualifiers.

According to Owngoalnigeria.com, the German-born football tactician, has also ruled out playing Victor Moses as a wing back in the game, he stated that playing Chelsea style would not augur well for the Eagles.

Moses, who missed Nigeria’s first World Cup 2018 qualifiers game against Zambia in Ndola, would be among the top key players expected to run down the Algeria side who are hungry to earn victory in Nigeria after failing to beat Cameroun at home.

“We don’t play the Chelsea way against Algeria. We won’t play like Chelsea, so we might necessarily not need a wing back. On the flanks, we have Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon and Alex Iwobi, Victor Moses is part of them,” he said.

Speaking further, Rohr said: “The idea is to put out the best team with the best formation for the Algeria game. Although, we intend to maintain most of the players who started the game against Zambia. We will build from there.”
