The Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba has said that the vision for Joshua Generation International Youth Conference (JGIYC), is to raise future key players in the church and in the nation.
Ndukuba who is also the convener of JGIYC, added that if the nation is to fulfil her destiny, youths must be mobilised and encouraged to positively contribute to nation building.
Tagged: “Joshua’s Generation,” Ndukuba disclosed that the group will rise against all odds to take on the challenges of their time, adding that because of their faith in God, they would do exploits and conquer the land.
Held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, where over 30,000 youths were in attendance, the Primate noted that JGIYC was an intentional holistic mission targeted at the youths.
Speaking at the second edition of the conference themed: “Manifestation Of The Sons Of God,” he charged the youths to arise and shine because the glory of the Lord was upon them. Ndukuba, who also used the occasion to commission eight strategic follow-up areas for the youths, described the strategic follow-up as an action plan to guide the process of possessing the seven mountains of influence as sons of God in this generation.
Meanwhile, those inaugurated by Ndukuba on April 22, 2022 were to commence work immediately.
