In the heat of the 2015 electioneering campaign, Chief Tony Okoroji, artiste, author, intellectual property activist, wrote a running commentary published every week on the pages of Saturday Independent and subsequently posted on the Internet.
By popular demand, Okoroji’s articles have been compiled into a book with catchy illustrations that relieve the serious moments, the comic events, the intrigues, the key personalities and the top contradictions that made the 2015 electioneering campaign an unforgettable experience with extraordinary suspense.
Every individual interested in the political history of Nigeria ought to read the book On the road to change. In it will be found the foretelling of the factors that led to the first electoral defeat of an incumbent Head of State in Nigerian history.
The book will be launched at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday, May 24, 2015, the beginning of the week of the handover of the reins of power to General Muhammadu Buhari.
