Equipped for hostile community – Part 2

Text: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (Matthew 28:18).

Introduction
The previous message prepared our mind to understand the nature of battle for every believer. The previous message prepared our mind to understand the nature of battle every believer is fighting. These battles of life are not physical; rather they are spiritual and needed to be handled is fighting. These battles of life are not physical; rather they are spiritual and needed to be handled with spiritual weapons. Paul mentioned FULL ARMOUR of God that I can name Christian armoury. In Ephesians 6:13, Paul emphasised that when believers put on the full armour of God when the day of evil comes, they may be able to stand their ground. The fact is that the day of evil will come as an attack on every Child of God. It may be an attack on your marriage, job, business or health. You must stand your ground not to be defeated. Let your spirit man groan and be ready to fight on your knees. Do you want all that God has for you on this earth right now, or do you want to wait until you get to heaven to receive the victory and blessings?

Jesus in support of Paul’s admonition talked of ALL POWER. The point is that Jesus Christ has fought the battle and won it on the cross. Every child of God ought to claim his/her victory in Christ.

• You must be a member of Christ Kingdom before you can exercise kingdom authority, which is not for the vagabond but the heir of the Lord. “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name, they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues” The sign is a demonstration of kingdom authority over every form of evil in our family and community.

• You must represent the King of the Kingdom. Because Jesus has all the power in heaven and in the earth, we are representing Him on earth. We must take possession of our community spirit. Every territorial spirit influencing your life, your family and our community negatively are paralysed in the name of Jesus.

• You are meant to recreate your world. Jesus said: “They will speak in new tongues…” The power to prosper and excel in life is in your tongues. Tongues of fire that will establish the plan and purpose of God for your life. Ability to discern the mind of God and speak against the enemies’ vices. The mark of every believer is in the power of the tongues that will change your destiny. The power to bless us in the spoken word into the life of your family and parishioners. Speak the word of life to your dying situation because it is your right and earthly benefits.

As you move on in the month of March, receive the ability to control your community positively in the name of Jesus. Amen.
