Dearly beloved, Calvary greetings to you! I bring you good tidings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. This piece is to prepare our mind and soul for the unique programme that is being anticipated by sons and daughters of Zion, as well as the entire world. I’m talking about the Feast of Jesus Passover, December 2020 edition.

The Feast of Jesus Passover is a divine invention of the Almighty God, and was first executed by Prophet Moses in the land of Egypt, at a period of severe strife for the Israelites. The Israelites were living in servitude to their Egyptian lords, without any hope of respite, except for the Lord’s intervention.

The scripture tells us how our Lord in His usual magnanimous nature came to His children’s aid. Our Lord required sacrifice, the shedding of blood without which redemption is not complete. He commanded our father Moses to tell the Israelites to paint their doorpost with the blood of lamb. Why? Because the angel of death would roam through the land to execute judgment on their Egyptian taskmasters (Exodus 12:21-23). Wherever the angels saw the sign of blood, that household was spared. That is how Passover began my brethren.

Now, let us fast-forward to the New Testament. We all know how tedious it will be, to spill the blood of an animal, anytime we needed to be rescued from trouble. Our Lord once again in His compassionate disposition, made it easy for us, by taking the hardest route ever. He displayed an act of love never seen or rivaled in history of creation, by sending His only son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross. The blood of Jesus immediately negated and nullified the effect of the blood of animals or the worshiping of any idols.

The blood of Jesus became our ransom. Hence, the name ‘Feast of Jesus Passover’. In essence, it is the celebration of the blood of our Lord Jesus. (Matthew 26: 26-28)

Beloved, the Feast of Jesus Passover offers complete salvation from sin and an abundance of victory over any manner of problem known to mankind.
