Bad guys are welcomed

Paul was a bad guy who relentlessly persecuted Christians with righteous zeal. At the stoning of Stephen in Acts 7:58, Paul held the coats of the executioners. He was a murderer, who shed the blood of Christians. Acts 9:1 described him this way, “And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest.” Ananias confirming Paul’s notoriety said of Paul in Acts 9:13, “Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:”

Paul encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus. He was going there to apprehend Christians, take hold of them and dragging them off to jail. However, Jesus got a hold of Paul’s life and he fell down to the ground. He heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? He responded and asked, “Who are thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.”

Are you very notorious? Has your family and society called you bad names for which you know you are guilty of? Have you been grossly involved in terrible abominations, which are very clear to you that God hates and condemns? Do you find yourself dancing attendance to the devil’s promptings, which is the FREEWWAY TO DESTRUCTION?

Did you just shed another blood because someone hired you to assassinate a fellow human being? Are you just fresh from a recent abortion? Are you on a terrorism mission? Have you sold your body into prostitution and got involved in juju, voodoo and cultism?

I don’t know the extent of your involvement in immoral acts and abominations of various levels and degrees. I just have an interesting message for you. GOD KEPT YOU FROM DYING BEFORE NOW, in spite of all your atrocities.This GOODNEWS that I am bringing your way is not reaching you by accident but by divine design or arrangement. The Lord Jesus has asked me to convey the following messages to you:
• YOU HAVE NOT MESSED UP BEYOND THE REACH OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS
• YOU ARE A CANDIDATE FOR MERCY.
• JESUS HAS NEVER SEEN A SINNER HE CANNOT FORGIVE
• THERE IS A SPACE FOR YOU TO BE FORGIVEN AND ACCEPTED AS HIS CHILD.
• GOD WELCOMED BAD GUYS LIKE YOU IN THE BIBLE, FORGAVE AND MADE THEM HIS CHILDREN. YOU CAN READ THEM IN THE BIBLE.
SAUL THE KILLER (Acts 9:1-15); THE THIEF ON THE CROSS (Luke 23:39-43); THE IMMORAL WOMAN (John 4:1-22) are all examples of bad people in the Bible.

WHAT HE DID FOR THESE PEOPLE, HE WANTS TO DO IN YOUR LIFE. HE IS SAYING TO YOU NOW “…..come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest”. (Matthew 11:28).
Just respond to Jesus by doing the following:
• Acknowledge your sins AND your hopelessness as you are at the verge of going to hell.
• Believe that Jesus died for your sins
• Confess your sins to him.
• Receive and invite him into your life.
1 John 1:8-9; 3:8-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17
Every saint has a past, every sinner has a future. You too can be changed in a flash just like God did to Paul.
Today’s Nugget: JESUS HAS NEVER SEEN A SINNER HE CANNOT FORGIVE.
Prayer: “LORD JESUS, I acknowledge my sins. I can’t hide them from you. I am almost going to hell.

I believe that you died for my sake and I trust the power of your sacrifice and blood to cleanse me and make me a new creature. LORD JESUS, forgive me. Come into my life and give me the power to be your child. From today, I promise to live for you all the days of my life. NO TURNING BACK. Thank you Lord.”
