Choose to believe, when hope is hopeless

Circumstances of life sometimes paint the picture of hopelessness. Life is not always fair to everyone; life is obviously full of challenges.

One great man of God said life is not a FUNFARE but WARFARE! JESUS the LORD said in this world, there would be tribulation but we are to rejoice because He has overcome the world. John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.

In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. JESUS our LORD said everyday has its own trouble; hence we are commanded to pray daily not to get into trouble.

Matthew 6:13 “AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL: For Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory, for ever. Amen”.

Troubles sometimes come without prior notice. The devil and his agents are constantly prowling around seeking whom to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”. We are never allowed to go on vacation in our spiritual warfare because IT WAS WHEN MEN SLEPT that the devil came to sow tares.

Matthew 13:25 “BUT WHILE MEN SLEPT, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way”. Through our spiritual warfare, we are able to stop the nefarious activities of the wicked one. What do we do when we face hopeless situations? Or when hope is indeed hopeless? The Word of God declares that THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.

In other words, we cannot live here without faith because the just WILL DIE without faith. Faith is a very potent force in our lives – it is the very victory that overcomes the negative currents of life. 1 John 5:4 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, EVEN OUR FAITH”. It is through the release of our faith that we please God.

Hebrews 11:6 “But WITHOUT FAITH it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Abraham our father of faith chose to walk by faith, when hope was hopeless.

Romans 4: 18-21 “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be; and being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb; he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was STRONG IN FAITH, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, HE WAS ABLE ALSO TO PERFORM”.

Today, be fully persuaded that no matter how long you have waited, God the Father will not lie, JESUS our LORD, will not lie and the Holy Spirit will not lie. Be fully persuaded that what God promised will surely come to pass. The enemy cannot stand your faith. Trust God now and you will not be put to shame. When hope is hopeless, we are invited to call upon the Name of the LORD. Psalm 50:15 “AND CALL UPON ME in the day of trouble: I WILL DELIVER THEE, and thou shalt glorify Me.”

Prayer can never be substituted in our lives. Psalm 37: 39-40 “BUT THE SALVATION OF THE RIGHTEOUS is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble; and the LORD SHALL HELP THEM, and DELIVER THEM: He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because THEY TRUST IN HIM”.

And then, do not give up. Pray until the Supernatural happens. Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly unto the THRONE OF GRACE, that we MAY OBTAIN MERCY, and FIND GRACE to help in time of need”.

In the Mighty Name of JESUS, you will overcome in the present hopeless situation. The LORD will surely show up on your behalf and turn every hopeless situation around.

PRAYER: Father God, I take You by Your Word. I refuse to quit. I am fully persuaded that what You have promised, You have performed. I am not a doubter. I am a believer.
