Founder and spiritual director of Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry Uke, Idemmili North local government council of Anambra State, Rev Fr Emmanuel Obimma, has explained that the essence of miracles occurring in the ministry is to glorify God’s name.

Father Obimma, popularly called Ebube Muonso, spoke on the harvest of miracles that attended the Ministry’s recent 33-day programme of fasting and prayer, which attracted many worshippers to the closing ceremony on February 24, 2017.

He disclosed that the programme was aimed at resolving many mysteries and miseries in many families, adding that a 96-page book titled: ‘Weapons of Warfare 4’ was produced to outline activities of each of the 33 days.

Father Obimma said he glorifies God for using him in the vineyard, pointing out that he regularly fasts and prays to seek the face of God for the year under review.

He said: “I can say it is the most thriving ministry around, because, when you come here, you see evidence of God’s presence, blessings and the power of the Holy Spirit in action. On weekly basis, miracles are recorded. My happiness is that people now come from outside Nigeria to share testimonies.”

Ebube Muonso said his ministrations include the homily, teaching the word of God and exposition of Bible passages, adding that apart from miracles and testimonies of open doors and great blessings from God, during the 33-day crusade, deaf and dumb participants in the congregation, including Paul Ukachukwu and Bernard Maduka, received spiritual healing, as both had their hearing and speech restored.

Still reminiscing about the programme, Father Obimma said the closing ceremony began with a prayer procession tagged, “My Year of Divine Enthronement,” after which he preached and prayed with the congregation from 9 pm to 9 am, before attending to the over 600 persons with special needs, who had booked to see him after the prayer session.

The Spiritual Director said his ministry spends over N30m yearly on charities, including over N15m that goes into settling hospital bills for indigent faithful.

“In 2016, we spent N15.7m on gifts for the poor and cash support to widows, destitute and the less privileged,” he said.

In the area of spiritual cleansing, the cleric disclosed that Adoration Ministry has increased the war against idolatry, which he said involves the uprooting of many idols believed to have kept many youths in bondage and numerous lives claimed mysteriously. According to him, shrines troubling some communities, including Omaliko, Ami-Agba, Iyi Oji Nkwelle, Udo Ekwulobia and Alusi Ikenga, among others, have been successfully uprooted.

The ministry has not neglected social works either. For instance, it has schools and factories that employ close to 20, 000 persons.

“Ebube Muonso is not the healer, but Jesus Christ. I have no power to do miracles, unless it is given to me from above,” he explained.

Warning against nepotism, corruption, tribalism and occultism in the country, the cleric said the congregation prayed and fasted for the success and progress of Nigeria and its inhabitants.

Rev. Fr. Obimma, who said the message centred on the fact that “true promotion comes from God,” noted that cheerful donors for God’s continued mercies, blessings and grace, sowed more than N500m as seed as God’s blessings have no sorrow. He explained that the monies raised would be used in propagating the gospel through evangelism and charity.

While paying tribute to all who started ministry before him, including Rev Fr Prof Bona Christus Umeogu, Fr Edeh and Rev Fr Mbaka, Father Obimma said the harvest of miracles at the Adoration is a testimony of God’s faithfulness and mercy.

He gave an instance of a man in China, who was so sick that he had just one day to live. “That day, I was in China for a crusade. The coordinator of the crusade, one Emeka, told me to wait behind and pray for the man, who was diagnosed of cancer. He said his liver and kidney were damaged, that he had only one day to live.

“When we got to the man’s house, I saw only a skeleton. I didn’t know what to say. I told God to wreak a miracle that would convert the entire Chinese country. I brought out my stole and lay on the man and started singing praises. After that I blessed the man and anointed him.

“The next day, Emeka, who took me to the sick man’s house, called me and said that China was in great jubilation. He informed me that the man was healed and that he was removed from the life-supporting machine. He also reported that the man who could not pass urine went to the toilet and passed urine unaided and also ate food. The doctors were amazed.’’

The Catholic priest, who is also the parish Priest of Blessed Iwene Tansi Parish, Umudioka Dunukofia, showed some of those who benefitted from his ministry and gifts. They include a mother of quadruplets (two boys and two girls), Mrs. Chizoba Olisa, who prayed that God of Ebube Muonso would visit the barren so they can have babies of their own.

Mrs. Olisa continued: “God of Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, as the impossibility specialist, secured my beautiful children and I gave birth like Hebrew women.”

Mrs. Josephine Ngozi Anyanwu, who in her seventh year of menopause, was diagnosed of cancer and heart failure, but after Ebube Muonso’s prayer, her cervical cancer disappeared.

Agbata Victoria testified that her uncle, who disappeared for over 30 years, was found in Edo State after attending the 14-day prayer at Adoration.
