The God kind of faith

The new creation is God reproducing Himself in man. So many people are living below the redemptive potentials and God cannot be blamed. We need the God kind of faith to live in God’s dimension. The doctrine of faith cannot be overemphasised in our Christian journey.

Jesus died for the world but He cannot force salvation on you without faith. To be saved you have to believe with faith. Acts 16:31 says, “They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” You have to believe with faith the finished work on the cross for you to be saved. The work of Jesus on the cross is useless without faith in man. We are only saved through faith in Jesus and the death of Jesus is a waste to a faithless man.

Believers in Christ are called to hold the mystery of faith (1 Timothy 3:9). The measure of God’s blessings we receive is according to our level of faith. Mathew 9:29, “Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you.” It is God’s will to heal but God will not heal without faith. Mark 10:52, “I“ Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.”

All you need for a change of level is faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7, “For we live by faith, not by sight.” Since nothing changes without your faith, why are you delaying to belief? The Bible says, it is to you according to your faith. Your measure of faith determines your level in life. Faith helps you believe what is out of the realm of man. Anything faith cannot pay for does not exist.

1 Timothy 1:5 talks about unfeigned/unbended faith as one of the end of commandments. An unfeigned faith is faith that is full-hearted and consistently constant. Faith that does not fail is the end of commandments. God is helpless to man without faith. God said I will hide my face from a generation without faith. In Deuteronomy 32:20, “And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.”

Faith makes all things possible. Bible says in Hebrews 11:6, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

You have no good end outside faith. Galatians 5:6, “For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.” We are beneficiaries of the Abrahamic Covenant’s blessings through faith and not by circumcision. The covenant rights in Christ is not discriminatory, it is for all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Your sex, race, colour and nationality is immaterial. Galatians 3:28-29, “28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, …. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

The emphasis in the New Testament is faith. In the Old Testament, circumcision was everything. God told Abraham to circumcise but in the New Testament, without faith in Christ, you are outside the covenant. Circumcision of Faith is all you need to confront your goliath and order the things you need to come your way.

Living by faith is not what you do just once but a lifestyle – the Bible says the just shall live by faith (Hebrews 10:38). James 2:23: Abraham believed God and he was called the friend of God. You can only be friends in the same class. Delete the picture that God is unfriendly; God is friendly and He wants to intentionally relate with you if only you believe with faith.
Today’s Nugget: You need Faith to live in God’s dimension.
