It is time for all fathers of faith in the land to start teaching and laying more emphasis on “thou shall not kill.” We don’t need breakthrough messages; rather we should stress more on the curses and punishment of killing in our Sunday schools, State Thanksgiving Ceremony, Swearing-in Sermon, Chapels in the State House and Revival meetings. If leaders do not show citizens how to kill, the citizens will have no interest in killing.

Jesus does not condone killing. This can be seen, when Peter was rebuked by Jesus not to kill with sword. Jesus told him that he, who kills with sword, would die by sword. Sword can be terminal diseases, such as cancer, kidney problem, etc. I have read in the Bible, where a man after God’s heart, David by name, was cursed for killing Uriah. God rained curses on him because of this wicked act.

I dare say that no one in this country is greater than David! When it comes to God’s word, He does not compromise. Even if you are the one who built all the churches in Nigeria, or gave land to Churches in Nigeria, or pay more tithe than anyone in the world, or you’re the director of the biggest church in the world, or a front-seater in church, but you are involved in the act of killing, God will never spare you. He will surely deal with you. (2 Samuel 12: 9-11) “Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in his sight? Thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword and hast taken his wife to be thy wife and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. Now, therefore, the sword shall never depart from thine house, because thou hast despised me and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

Thus saith the Lord, Behold I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house and I will take thy wives before thine eyes and give them unto thy neighbour and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.”

Three punishments await all killers:
• No solution from medical doctor, they will manage you till death comes.
• Your body will face severe punishment, pain and heat in the grave after death.
• Your soul will finally face eternal judgment.

Stop killing today, give your life to Jesus and repent of your sins. (John 10:10) “The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” Follow in Jesus’ footsteps. It shall be well with your soul.
