Ukporhe launches marriage planning, healing book for all

The Senior Pastor, The Remnant Christian Network, Lagos Centre, Austin Ukporhe, has urged the singles, married, those traumatised as a result of past experiences and have vowed never to marry again, as well as those enduring their marriages to look up to God, saying God instituted marriage to be enjoyed and that marriage is for matured and responsible adults.

Ukporhe gave the admonition at the launch of his book titled: “The Field Of Boaz: A Tale Of A Broken Past, Redemption And Discovering God’s Will For Marriage” at the Forge, Ojodu, Lagos.

Endorsed by the former General Overseer, Foursquare Gospel Church, Nigeria, Rev. Felix Meduoye and his wife, the book was forwarded by Setman, Christian Network Global, Makurdi, Benue State.

“I have one book I have full regard for in terms of its originality, history and authenticity, which is the Bible.I align my life story with Ruth who went to the field of Boaz and it is a blessing to me,” the author said.

Ukporhe threw pride and self-esteem overboard, and unveiled his past before he had an encounter with the Lord and advised those whose marriages are facing the storm of life to relax and trust God for His divine intervention.
He noted that marriage failure and broken homes are as a result ofloss of values, lack of understanding of the meaning of marriage, lack of parental care and holding back in the area of disciplining the children among others.

He counselled couples to have friends they can share their problems in the home, develop the spirit of accountability, while enjoining Church leaders to establish post-marriage counseling units in their churches.

He advised intending couples to hold growing in love higher thatfalling in love, urging parents to be very close to their children and to begin from age three to make them know the sensitive parts of their body and never to allow anybody to touch these parts.

He discouraged parents from allowing their female children to sit on the laps of male youths or adults because of the insidious attitudes of pedophiles. He advised parents to beware of bad drivers and relations.

Apostle Femi George reviewed the book, which he described as a must-to-have for everyone.
