If you go to the Law Faculty you will see my name there. that was the most wonderful moments that I had. Aside the fact that I met friends from other parts of the country, am a Bayesian who was from Lagos and move to the north to meet different culture, people foods and all of that but for me while in Zaria where I went to school and not to socialize. This is one memory I won’t forget.

On what prompted her decision for ABU and comparing among Federal Universities Nigeria then:, she said “ I choose Ahmadu Bello University because I wanted to read Law and at that time ABU was the best when it comes to Law. so I wanted to get the best of the best and For me, ABU still remain the same, ABU then, now and ABU forever. As far as am concern it still remains the best university in Nigeria in terms of quality, teachers / lecturers, hostels accommodation, and education managements, ABU is the best”. She further said, “If Ahmadu Bello University standard continues the way it used to be, I see ABU becoming the Harvard of Nigeria in the next five to ten years to come and in africa at large

Asked her about her Classmates and Lecturers and where are they today and how are they fearing ?, Dame Julie Eniekedo Donli who is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (FCIS), Associate, Chartered Arbitrators of Nigeria (ACArb), a Fellow, Institute of Auctioneers (FCAI). “There are many of my university mates at ABU who are excelling in different sectors of the economy, within and outside this country. One of them is a current Governor, one is a Honorable chief Justice of a state, one is Director General of a Federal Government Ministry , one is an Attorney General of a state, we have Senior Advocate of Nigeria who is my class mate, one is an Executive Secretary of an Agency and many are running their private businesses. So all my classmates are doing very well in all area and they are all over Nigeria. I remember the late Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Muhammad Awodi, and many other committed and intelligent lecturers who were passionate about giving us the best. Among them is Baba Shani. It was fun, because all of them came with their own different way of teaching which made studying at Zaria worthwhile”.

On her advice to young student and youths in general, Dame Julie Eniekedo Donli who has received over 300 awards including the Most Outstanding Award for Human Rights Activist and Humanitarian Service Award of the Year. she charged them to be very serious with their future, be serious with their studies, and understand there is time for everything. For me, when it was time to play I played, when it was time to be serious I was serious. I wasn’t joking with my school works. I never played with Library to study and carrying out research works. I also advise them to abstain from negative societal vices like drug abuse, cultism and internet fraud. They should be focused on their studies and goals in life and with on their side, the sky remains the limit to them.
