Overturn to take over

The word ‘overturn’ means a turnover, to swing to another direction or to place upside down and all of this requires a shaking. The young man in our Bible passage was tired of one place and wanted to take over territories. He, therefore, consulted his master who gave him a go-ahead but as he was about to cut a tree, the axe head turned and fell into the water.

This explains the life of many people today; they are tired of their situation and desire a change. The singles are tired of their singlehood and want to get married, the barren want to carry their babies, the jobless want to be gainfully employed and the sick want to be healed. They have fasted and prayed to God, are genuinely born again and heavenly focused like the sons of the prophet yet every attempt they make to get a chance to seem to usher in more problems. Haggai 2:22 “And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen, and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.” Every satanic kingdom and throne resisting your change, God will destroy them and hand over to you what is rightfully yours in Jesus name.

For you to take over, God says He will shake and overturn kingdoms for your sake until they are no more. There is a part, however, that you are required to play. These are the strategies you need to put in place if you must take over territories. The first of them is that you must have a Vision. Vision gives you a focus; it triggers the drive to keep going until you reach your expected end. The sons of the prophet had the vision to enlarge their coast because they could see better things ahead. Change is very vital in life. It adds spice to everything we do. As much as God can never change, He desires changes in our lives to the extent that He can even shake nations for our sake.

Apart from you have a vision for a change or to take over, you need to strategize. This involves having a laid down plan on how to execute a project and God will establish it. Prov.16:2-3. God is a Master strategist. May God give you wisdom and direction to fulfill your dream in Jesus name. Another thing you require to take over is God’s presence. The young man knew that he needed his master. Elisha was a type of Christ and when the problem came, he was there to intervene. Ex. 33:14 “And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.”

Note also that you are bound to face oppositions when taking over. The shaking that comes along with it will not only draw attention to you but stir up men to stop you. I decree because you are unstoppable, you will arrive at your desired end in Jesus name.

Oppositions can come in different forms like physical confrontations, disappointments, storms, lack of finance or even sickness. It could also be spiritual or powers of your father’s house like we see in the case of Joseph. He had the vision to take over territories but the powers of his father’s house did everything possible to stop him. I pray for you, that everything men do to stop you will work for your good in Jesus name.

Finally, if you must take over then you must learn to sharpen your axe head. Of what use is an axe without ahead? It is the axe head that gives the axe its value. It also gives the axe its weight and it bears the cutting edge. The axe head can be likened to the Holy Spirit; without it, you may put so much effort in what you do yet no result. Eccl. 10:10 says a blunt axe head will cause a workman so much strength just like an unskilled labourer. Wisdom is profitable to direct, upgrade yourself from 3D and be 4D compliant.
