Remove the veil

Jesus said in John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” It is the truth that sets a man free, not just knowing the truth but living the truth.

Jesus said in John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” It is the truth that sets a man free, not just knowing the truth but living the truth.

The truth is God’s Word for a man’s life. It is a revelation of who you have been made to be. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “The revelation of thoughts takes men out of servitude into freedom.” In other words, until the truth of your difference dawns on you, you may live in servitude. To be in servitude is to be in bondage, a state of being under subjection to a force, power, or influence. It is a state of being under the control of another person. A state of being covered, ignorant of who one really is, and subject to an alternative lifestyle.

Freedom is knowing who you are and being who you are, no matter what anyone is doing. Wayne Dyer said, “Freedom is when you are unobstructed in living your life as you choose, anything less is a form of slavery.” It is the power to act, speak or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.

Somebody said, “Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor, it must be demanded by the oppressed.” Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability but comes through continuous struggle. So, man must straighten his back and work for his freedom. A man cannot ride on you unless your back is bent.

It may amaze you to know that there are many bent backs walking on the streets, men that are captives, imprisoned, confined, and enslaved, living under the shadow of others. It is not that the oppressor is so powerful, but the inability of the oppressed to pay the price to locate their difference makes them a victim and a prey.

Everything that man needs to be is already packaged not just today, but from before man’s creation. Isaiah 46:10 “Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” God is not just negotiating freedom; it has been paid for and guaranteed.

Isaiah 49:24-26 “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty or the lawful captive delivered?

But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty one for Jacob.”

Freedom does not mean the same thing to people. Some individuals need:
• Spiritual freedom – that will deliver them from every force covering their difference in life from manifesting.

• Mental freedom – inspiration that will release them from mental slumber to mental alertness for their unique gifting to manifest.

• Social freedom – to be financially free and be delivered from poverty that swallows a man’s voice. Whichever freedom is needed is available. 2 Corinthians 13:8 “For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.” Your truth cannot be covered up.

Discovering Your Difference
Until you discover, you cannot recover. Knowledge is power and it is the key to the manifestation of your difference. God gave you gifts that make you unique, gifts that hold great possibilities. But you have to discover them and develop them. I read a sign that says “we’ve got it if you can find it”.

Nobody was born without a gift (talent) including you, but you’ve got to find it. Ignorance is no excuse. Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “The biggest tragedy in America is not the great waste of natural resources – through this is tragic, the biggest tragedy is the waste of human resources because the average person goes to his grave with his music still in him.”

A person is not necessarily defeated by his opponents, but by himself. Failure to discover who you are, who you are meant to be leaves you daily in the land of fantasy.

Life is not about wishing but dreaming and living the dream. Washington Irvin said, “Great minds have purpose, others have wishes.” It is the truth you know that definitely sets you free.

John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Ignorance of the power of your difference makes you enslaved. It takes the discovery and the pursuit of your purpose to catapult you into the land of greatness.
