The potter

Text: Jeremiah 18:1:6

“The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord saying, 2 “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I shall announce My words to you”. 3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something on the wheel. 4 But the vessel that he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter, so he remade it into another vessel, as it pleased the potter to make. 5 Then the word of God came to me saying, 6 “Can I not, o house of Israel, deal with you as this potter does?” declares the Lord “Behold like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.

Who is a Potter? Someone who makes pottery.
What is Pottery? Pottery is the process of forming vessels and other objects with the clay and other ceramic material, which are fired at high temperatures to give them hard durable form.

These processes signify our moulding experience with God, most times we do not allow God to mould us completely Himself, we prefer to be halfbaked. When we allow God to mould us, we have allowed Him to take charge of our situations. So many people prefer to take care of their situation, that is why we are left in dismay and disappoint when things did not go as we expected. When God takes charge of our situations we worry less, we remain determined and focused, this makes our inner mind free of evil thinking and doings. A lot of people have indulged in evil practices because they decided to work out their situations themselves.

Absolute submission to God, allows God to be the ruler of our lives, this is a transparent lifestyle, free from crimes and immoral practices. Let us give God the opportunity to safeguard our lives and then every other thing will be added to us. God is the creator of heaven and earth, He determines life and death, He determines riches and wealth, He is our shield and buckler.

Believe in God’s divine protection, Provisions and Faithfulness, our lives shall flourish till the end of time. Do you want to experience a divine intervention of God’s plan and purpose?
