The transformed life – Part 3

Text: Romans 12:1-2
Key Verse: Romans 12:2, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (NKJV)

Salvation is a great thing. When you give your life to Christ, you will be associated with the Holy Spirit; you will be the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. There are all kinds of spirit in the world — foul, evil, wicked, and principalities and powers of the satanic empire. Despite this, when you give your life to Jesus Christ, become the temple of the Holy Spirit, these spirits will not be able to harm you. You have to make your body, your whole being, the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, to enjoy this right.

There was an old song rendered by the early founding fathers in Christendom. It goes: “All my body is the temple of God because God does not live in a house built by hands, all my body is the temple of God.”

God knows everything about you, so, there is no need to pretend to be what you are not. Pretending to be who you are not is utter foolishness and a great disrespect to God. You are telling God that He does not know anything about you, that He cannot see and that He does not understand anything. This is a great disrespect to Him.

God knows everybody in the world, including those living a contrary lifestyle. He knows those that are His and those that are not. He knows the General Overseers, Pastors and Deacons that belong to Him and those that do not. If there is any chorister in a church that is living a contrary lifestyle, God knows of it.

You cannot be living a contrary lifestyle and sing gloriously to God. You may be singing, but you are not singing to God because God would not accept it. God says those who will worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). You cannot worship God in lies, in deceit or living a crooked lifestyle. You cannot serve two masters; God in the day and the Devil in the evening. You must make up your mind if you want to give your life to God or the Devil.

The word of God is a discerner of thoughts, plans, purposes and desires. God knows all about us, so, no one can be hidden from Him, Hebrews 4:12-13. All things are naked before Him. He is the only One we are to render all accounts to. You may not give account to your husband, wife or parents, but you will surely give account to God, Who knows everything about you. It is for this reason that anybody dealing with God must be straight. It is foolishness and a great disrespect to think God does not know what you are doing. I beg of you, stop fooling yourself, stop deceiving and cheating yourself and be upright before God. Do not give room for the Devil, worship the omniscient God in spirit and in truth.
