Divine Principles Of Prosperity And Abundance
It is not enough to have riches. You need to understand and apply the appropriate principles to multiply and increase it to outlive you, and also for your generation to live in abundance.

“ But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day,” Deuteronomy 8:18.

That, in essence, means God gives you what it takes to get what you are looking for. He gave us the skills, talents, and also the ability to exercise our skills to produce wealth and wisdom to manage and multiply what we pr
oduce. This is why the Bible says: “Now unto him, that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20.

You do not succeed or become prosperous because you are doing business, but because you understand the principles that govern business and prosperity. The scriptures in Matthew 25:14-30 teaches us a very deep secret on money and business.

In Matthew 25:26, He called the man that went to bury his talents “wicked and slothful.” Slothful means lazy, while wicked on the other hand means morally bad or mischievous. That is, if you are lazy or morally bad and mischievous, you cannot make it in life. If you are in business and you have all these characters, you have the chance not to make it.

But it may even surprise you that the man that was referred to as been wicked and slothful is better than many Christians today, at least, he saved the money, but some Christians would rather squander all. They will squander both the capital and profit, which will in turn result in poverty. From the story in Matthew 25, money should be invested not saved.

Learn to live your life with the consciousness of these principles and you will prosper with ease:
• Invest Money: money is not to be spent all at once, invest it. Do not spend it until it is able to reproduce itself. Every money has the ability to multiply, but you must put it to work for it to do so. A poor man sees the luxury of the rich man and is envious, but he doesn’t know the principles the rich man has applied to have such luxury. The rich man spends the return or surplus, he does not spend the capital. Even politicians spend the excess of their capital, not the capital itself. So, the wise invest money, but mediocre spends the money. Your investment determines your future and prosperity; it determines how bright your life is.

Save or Have A Reservoir: In Matthew 25:1-13, there is the principle of planning to overcome an emergency when it comes to money. We were told the story of the 10 virgins: the five wise ones saved up oil and the five foolish ones used up their oil before the master came. The virgins that had the oil were called the wise, while the others that had none were called foolish. Your life determines what men will call you. A wise or a foolish man.

Don’t Spend All: Mind your spending, plan well and invest after you have paid your tithe and given your offering. As a Christian, have a reserve. Money has a very strong power to control whoever is holding it because it wants to be spent. You must have the ability not to spend according to the compelling forces. This is what makes you a master. Control money, dictate to it where it should go or not go.

Deal With Pride And Arrogance: If a man has not dealt with arrogance or pomposity, money will pull it out.

In managing money, pride and arrogance must be dealt with. Money does not make a man proud or arrogant, neither does poverty but your situation brings out what is in you. A man who would be proud already has it in him before wealth or riches came. Money only brings out the content in a man. If you are going to have riches and be prosperous in life, kill pride and arrogance otherwise, pride will bring you down to ground zero.
Money Is A Gift In Your Care: You must learn not to make money as your own. It is a gift. All things are held together in Christ. If you are to continue in abundance, it must be by Christ who gives all things abundantly. You should know that you are a manager or trustee of money. It is not yours; it has been kept in your care (Ecclesiastes 5:19).

Money Has A Defined Purpose: The rich fool in Luke 12:16 was so-called because he did not realise that he was a caretaker. You must know that it was given to you for a purpose on the earth. A blessed man has more than what he can spend, but if you do not realise that you are a caretaker that blessing will inform you of doom like the case of the rich fool.
