Whatever you are going through in life, you are not forgotten.

Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth were amongst those that were barren in the Bible. God never forgot them. They gave birth to great men (Isaac, Samuel and John the Baptist), according to the scriptures. Before God blessed Hannah with the fruit of the womb, Peninnah (Hannah’s rival) had children, and she mocked Hannah for having none. None of Peninnah’s children became as great as Samuel. Hannah’s womb was shut by God,for a reason known to Him. But when it was God’s time, He opened Hannah’s womb, and she gave birth not to an ordinary child, but a great one. God is not wicked, He understands man’s plight, but He waits until you are matured for the special gift He wants to give you. There are some blessings you may not be able to handle unless you develop a Godly character.

There is a set time for everyone to make it in life. Do not look at another man’s time. There is an assigned time that your sorrow and weeping will end, only if you can stand the test of time. You need God’s grace to pass God’s test concerning your life.

There were many people around Zaccheus, but God came specifically for him at that moment. Though he was short, he climbed on the tree to place himself where he could see Jesus clearly and also be located. When the set time comes for your breakthrough, will you position yourself in the right place? Will you cut corners before God’s time? Some cannot wait for God’s time and have gone into crime. You will be in the right place with God, if you hold on to God and His promises, till your prayers are answered. People who cut corners are absent on their day of blessing.

God can’t forget His own people. “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you” (Isaiah 49:15). Genesis 1:26a says “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea.” As a child of God, you share a common heritage with Abraham. Abraham went through a lot in life, but God did not forsake him, so God can’t forsake you either.

There was a man who spent 38 years at the pool of Bethesda. There was a multitude of sick people around the pool waiting for the moving of the water, which was being stirred up by an angel at a certain time of the year. Whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. John 5: 6-9 says When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. Every dry bone, dead situation in your life will rise again, because the Lord has not forgotten you. He will surely remember you.
