Despite his failed bid to the 10th National Assembly in the February 25 general elections, Magaji Da’u Aliyu, representing Birnin Kudu/Buji Federal Constituency in Jigawa State, has handed over three completed projects worth N 2.2 billion to three communities in the two local councils of his constituency.

From my own personal understanding, constituency projects were conceived to give money to members of the National Assembly who will in turn execute projects of their choice in their respective constituencies.
