Operation Thunder Strike
As soldiers intensify efforts to rid Kaduna State of terrorism, troops of Operation Thunder Strike reportedly killed two armed bandits during a night ambush operation along Gwagwada-Chikun Road in Chikun Local Council.
The Kaduna State Government said troops of Operation Thunder Strike (OPTS) have killed four bandits and recovered three rifles in Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
Troops of Operation Thunder Strike, on Friday, captured three bandits and rescued two women kidnapped in Gwagwada District in Chikun Local Council of Kaduna State.
Operation Thunder Strike, during joint ground and air patrols in Chikwale village, Chikun Council of Kaduna State, at the weekend, neutralised a gang of bandits.
The Defence Headquarters says the Air component of Operation Thunder Strike has neutralised several armed bandits at Chikwale Forest in the Mangoro area of Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
