Super Eagles star, Ikechukwu Uche, was Villarreal’s hero as he scored to earn them a point off hosts Getafe in a league game yesterday.

Villarreal are sixth on the table with 52 points from 32 games.

Uche scored in the 52nd minute to put his team in front, but Diego Castro equalised for Uche’s former club in the 64th minute.

Uche has now scored six goals in La Liga this season.

Meanwhile, in England, another Super Eagles’ star, Victor Moses, who just returned to action after an injury lay off, has been knocked out again.

Stoke City manager, Mark Hughes, has revealed that Moses may be sidelined for “several weeks” after picking up a hamstring injury during his side’s 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Saturday.

Moses, who has netted four times in all competitions this season for Stoke, limped off in the 44th minute at Upton Park after pulling up when attempting a shot.
Speaking after the Premier League contest, which saw the Potters take a share of the spoils against the Hammers, Hughes said the injury looked rather serious.

“It looks like Victor has pulled his hamstring. It looks like it is in a strange position, as it seems to be right behind his knee, which isn’t the normal position you usually get hamstring injuries.

“We will get it checked, it may be something that isn’t to do with the hamstring so it could be that we get good news but we can’t be sure yet.
“If it is a hamstring, then it could be that we lose him for a few weeks,” he said.

Moses is on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea.
