SEQUEL to his diamond jubilee held in February 2020, communication scholars have welcomed chapter contributions centred (but not exclusively) in honour of Prof. Rotimi Williams Olatunji at 60.
Olatunji was Dean, School of Communications, Lagos State University LASU and Editor/ Editor-In-Chief of several reputable journals, with numerous academic publications.
His sphere of influence has seen him mentor researchers and scholars in advertising, public relations, health communication, political communication, media and cultural studies.
His scholarship is defined by studies in these fields as well as engagements with professional bodies, international donor agencies and government agencies such as Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), African Council for Communication Education (ACCE), Association of Communication Scholars & Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN) United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR), UNICEF, World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Lagos State’s Ministries of Information and Health, among others.
The contributions must revolve round his scholarship orientations on the following themes, Advertising, PR, children, youth and culture and must address gender and culture.
