The Global Imo State University (IMSU), old students association, Lagos State chapter has trained its members on leadership quality.

The graduation ceremony, which held at Ikeja, Lagos, yesterday, served as the association’s end-of-year party for 2023.
Chairman of the Global IMSU Lagos Chapter, Mr. Esinaulo Ugochukwu, said the association offered selfless contributions as the instrument to the growth and stability of its members despite the challenges.

He stated that the chapter had always been at the forefront of berthing social and educational activities, committed to fostering personal growth, camaraderie and the overall advancement of the alumni.

He said: “Today, we celebrate our association, which is a beacon of unity and collective success, standing strong with over 110 dedicated memberships”.

“Our chapter is a vibrant community committed to fostering personal growth and the overall advancement of our esteemed alumni, we have gathered here to celebrate success, greatness, achievements, outstanding performance of our members.

“We recognise contributions of our notable members for their human development, community service, humanitarian efforts and entrepreneurship. their stories inspire us and reinforce our belief in humanity and human relationship.

National Global President of the alumni Dr. Anayo Chukwunonye Uhiara said the association had helped to open the alumni for quality membership and impact in the institution, stressing that he would leverage on the foundation and wealth of experience the association has has laid over the years.

The Chairman of the occasion Chief Duru Ugochukwu described the association as an emerging colossus that has touched and impacted so many lives, and has repositioned the alumni through its transformational approach to the development of its members.

Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo state on Secondary Education Management Board (SEMB) Prince Ezeala Ferdinand Akano, expressed gratitude to God Almighty for making the event a successful and given him wisdom.

He commended the alumni for celebrating its achievements, emphasizing that leadership is about selfless service to humanity.
