Group hails Sylvester Okonkwo on honorary doctorate award

The Advocacy for Good Governance has congratulated Dr. Sylvester Okonkwo on his Honorary Doctorate in Public Administration from Tansian University, recognising his leadership, public service, and contributions to national development.
Sylvester Okonkwo is the immediate past Chief of Staff to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

A group, the Advocacy for Good Governance, has congratulated Sylvester Okonkwo, on the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate in Public Administration (DPA) by Tansian University, Umunya, Anambra State.

The group said the recognition is a testament to his unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership and immense contributions to public service and nation-building.

“As the immediate past Chief of Staff to the President of the 10th Senate, Sen. “His dedication and professionalism in public service naturally led to his appointment as the Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Southeast Development Commission (SEDC), where he continues to drive policies that foster growth, development and economic empowerment.

“Beyond his official roles, Dr. Okonkwo has remained a beacon of hope and support for his community. His investments in human capital development, particularly through his generous scholarship programs, have empowered countless young Nigerians, opening doors of opportunity and shaping the future of our nation.
