Co-owner of Ranchers Bees FC, Sadiq Umar, has praised the Nigeria National League (NNL) for its innovative Super 4 format, describing it as a game-changer for Nigerian football.
In a statement, yesterday, Umar expressed his enthusiasm for the new format, saying it is a significant improvement that will elevate the league profile.
“I think the league has been given a facelift with the way things are arranged,” Umar said. “The new format ensures we have a true champion and representative in the NPFL. The top team from each group gains automatic promotion, and the team with the most points becomes the overall NNL champion. It is a more streamlined and exciting way to conclude the season,” he said.
Umar added that the involvement of Toptier Sports Management has been instrumental in reshaping the NNL’s structure and financial status.
“It is paying off, and stakeholders are commending Toptier Sports management. Their support has been phenomenal, and we are seeing the results on the pitch.”
