The Kaduna State Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) has approved a total of ₦14.56 billion as allocation for the state and local governments for April 2026.

 

The approval was made during a meeting chaired by the Deputy Governor, Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, and held at the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, where members deliberated on and adopted the revenue distribution for the month.

 

The committee approved a statutory allocation of ₦8,616,285,612.57, Value Added Tax (VAT) share of ₦4,510,345,626.70, and ecological funds amounting to ₦1,435,854,979.11.

This brings the total allocation for April 2026 to ₦14,562,486,218.38, which is expected to be shared in accordance with the established revenue-sharing formula to support governance and development across the state and its local government councils.
