Access Bank

An Enugu lawyer, Olusoga Omotayo has raised an alarm over an alleged authorised credit into his  Access Bank account domiciled at Ogui Road branch, in Enugu State.

Omotayo, told The Guardian that he had gone into his account on Monday evening to discover a huge sum of over seventeen million naira credited to him, even when he had no transaction deal with any individual or organisation that warranted such payment.

In a letter he sent to the Ogui Road branch of the bank in Enugu on Tuesday, Omotayo had pleaded with the bank to take immediate necessary steps to extract the money paid into his account from an unknown person.

The letter reads: “I write to inform you that I noticed yesterday evening the inflow of the sum of N17, 200 000 ; 00K (Seventeen Million two hundred thousand Naira Only), into my account domicile with the bank.

“I didn’t have any transaction with anybody to warrant the transfer of such money to my account by an unknown person. I therefore demand that you take necessary legal steps to remove the fund from my account”

He also attached a photoshoot of the said transaction to the letter.
