The Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Zamfara State, Hon. Bala Sale Gamji, has presented appointment letters to some party officials at the local government level,  as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s leadership structure across the State.

This was contained in a statement issued by the State Publicity secretary of the party,  Hon. Yusuf Hashimu Sani and made available to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital.

According to the statement, the appointments followed the approval of the party leadership and are aimed at enhancing effective leadership, unity, and the smooth administration of the party’s affairs across the State.

It also stated that, Malam Wadatau Madawaki, approved the appointments and announced the names of some of the beneficiaries.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Bala Sale Gamji urged the newly appointed officials to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, dedication, and a strong commitment to advancing the interests of the party at the grassroots level.

The newly appointed officials expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in them, and pledged to work closely with the party leadership to strengthen the PDP, and promote its objectives across Zamfara State.

Recall that Governor Dauda Lawal collapsed the party’s structure when he defected to the All Progressive Congress, APC with his supporters in the State.
