Legal luminary and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Asiwaju Gboyega Awomolo, has lost his 96-year-old mother, Madam Felicia Anike Awomolo (a.k.a Mama Egbe Aya Bishop).

Madam Awomolo died peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2018, while waiting for her breakfast to be served, a statement by her son, said.

The statement described the departed as a tireless prayer warrior, who never “compromised her faith and covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ; never missed Christmas celebration with her children and grandchildren in the last 10 years.

“What gladdens my heart is the way she departed and ended her labour on earth peacefully and joyfully, as she had always wanted to depart without any pain.”

The legal practitioner stressed that the deceased would be sorely missed, adding: “Her prayers have spiritually affected my life tremendously.”
