Founder of the Academy, Mithun Kamath, said the academy was poised to adopt a gamified approach to make learning fun for individuals.
He stated that the acquisition of knowledge should lead to behavioural change, hence the need to teach softs skills.
According to him, what Tantalum offers is a purpose-based game that aligns with individual and organisational interests, basically designed to build knowledge, confidence, critical thinking, self-management and relationship building.
Kamath opined that two out of every three jobs would be soft skills intensive by the year 2030, stating that with the findings, it had become expedient for individuals to boost their competencies and capabilities with soft skills.
Noting that soft skills are the future, he said that analytical skills, critical thinking, leadership and social influence, creativity and originality, emotional intelligence and innovation are essentials that should be possessed by every individual who wants to sustain career growth.
He underscored the fact that gamified learning was futuristic, as it promotes effective learning beyond the typical physical and online training.
A Director of Tantalum, Afolabi Oseni, stressed the need for soft skills acquisition as the organisation was raising the bar in equipping people with learning that is innovative and growth-focused.
The launch witnessed the audience playing games with the map of Nigeria to amplify the need to embrace soft skills.
Award winning actress, Joke Silva and the music producer, and artist, Banky W, who eulogised Tantalum Academy having undergone the training, endorsed the training as a potent tool to improve learning and acquire soft skills to succeed in business and professional attainments.
