Cadbury, others to be honoured at 2017 West Africa Innovation Awards

As a way of encouraging others and reward inspiring advances among strategic brands across five countries, the 2017 West Africa Innovation Award is set to celebrate outstanding firms in the region.

The 2017 West Africa Innovation Awards is scheduled to take place at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. The Countries covered by the Awards include Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Gambia and Cameroon.

Project Manager of the Awards, Olusola Adeniyi said some of the winners this year include Cadbury Nigeria through its flagship brand-Bournvita, Insel Communications, Vanguard Assurance (Ghana), Russelsmith Nigeria, Zenith Pensions Custodian, Big and Bold Nigeria, Elixir (Sierra Leone), Axis Pensions (Ghana), Halogen Security and Portland Paints and Products Nigeria.

Other winners include Lagos State Pensions Commission (LASPEC), Enterprise Life Assurance Company Limited (ELAC) Ghana, Mr. Tope Smart, NEM Insurance Plc, Nigeria, Heidelberg Cement (Ghana), International Commercial Bank Ltd (Gambia) Ltd, Sierra Leone Ports Authority, DDP Outdoor Limited, Sierra Leone, Star Times, Phoenix Insurance, Origin 8 and National Telecommunications Commission, Sierra Leone .

About 20 categories will be honoured at the award dinner. Speaking on the selection process, Adeniyi stated that a six -man panel of Judges chosen from across West Africa has reviewed some of the top brands and public sector growth drivers for the honours.
