The Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) chartered has deepened its relationship with PZ Cussons Nigeria Limited, stating that the firm has indeed changed the industrial and manufacturing landscape of the economy.

The institute affirmed that the firm has not only continued with the business of manufacturing but has kept contributing to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and providing jobs to teeming Nigerians.

Acting President and Chairman of Council, Dr. Christiana Atako, said this during a courtesy visit by the institute to the company in Lagos, recently.

Atako, who advised the organisation to join the institute’s membership, proposed an Intensive Training for Membership Admission (ITMA), which would lead the employees becoming members of the institute.

She also urged that the firm to extend opportunity to contribute to the organisation’s excellence, through consultancy projects in restructuring, training, need analysis and design of in-plant training programmes.

Director, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, PZ, Dominic Ezeokana, who commended the institute, mentioned some of the challenges facing the business environment.

He, however, said the firm would continue advocacy through bodies such as the NIM for the government to pay serious attention and ease the burden of doing business in Nigeria.
