Olugbodi receives outstanding background check personality award
The Chief Executive Officer of Background Check International (BCI), Kola Olugbodi, has been recognised as the outstanding background check personality of the decade at the 2021 Marketing Edge awards.
Olugbodi, according to the organisers has remained focused and dynamic in breaking new ground in the hitherto unknown industry.
He has through his organisation, remained focused in delivering superior service and promoting an inimitable edge in the industry.
Olugbodi, in his response said it was his vision to accelerate growth of background checks and promote the capabilities and competencies of BCI globally.
He said BCI has been championing a new dawn in supporting discerning clients to embrace background checks as a veritable tool to checkmate fraud.
Olugbodi, a graduate of Demography and Statistics from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), has received several awards of recognition for being the pioneer of the background check industry in Nigeria.
He belongs to several professional bodies such as Institute Security of Nigeria. He is also the author, Through it All, a fast selling novel.
The Managing Director/Publisher of Marketing Edge, John Ajayi, said the award was conceived to reward excellence across the nation’s integrated marketing communications spectrum.
He said it was also designed to reward excellence and showcase industry stakeholders, who have remained vibrant and forward looking in all areas.
He commended Olugbodi for his foresight in engendering growth and attracting global attention to the industry in Nigeria through his initiates and insight.
