In 2019, Wisdom Dafinone launched his first set of three books of poetry at the Institute of International Affairs in Lagos Nigeria. The Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council recommended all three books as a supplementary texts. The Lagos State Education Board adopted one of his books, Ode To Inamorata, for Literature and English JSS3.

The three collections focus on crucial life issues, such as love, relationships, faith and hope. His Ode to Inamorata and Other Poems, in fact, portrays pristine beauty in a love-crumbled and divorce-prone world, and the hope of triumphant victory.

In his latest collections, Dafinone attempts to set ‘Amazon on Fire’ with his writings. Six new books of poetry, namely Guns and Stripes A Banner For A Nation, Heroes Of Our Hearts And Love, Fathers, Families, And Friends, What’s The Colour Of Your Love, Elegy By The Statue Of Liberty and Poetry As Psychiatry have been offered Amazon for publication. However, of the six, Guns and Stripes A Banner For A Nation, Heroes Of Our Hearts And Love, only two have been officially released.

In his Guns and Stripes: A Banner For A Nation, he interrogates the daily exigencies of life that often make human beings lose track of their dreams and aspirations. The collection reveals that human beings often forget to call time-outs to look at the white clouds in a blue sky floating over turquoise waters just beyond the swaying palms and reignite the creative flame. It was released on November 7, 2021; it is a‎ 29-page collection of poems. The second collection that has been released is Heroes Of Our Hearts And Love.

DAFINONE was born in a ruling family of the Okpe Kingdom of Delta State. He had his primary education in Nigeria and then moved to the United States to receive his higher education. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Washington, Seattle. Wisdom is a retired financial and tax consultant to many multinational companies operating the major key sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Talking about his hobbies, he is an avid reader of classics, with an interest in Latin, American, Greek, and Japanese languages and cultures. His first set of three poetry books were published in November 2019. The Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council has recommended all books as supplemental texts in Literature & English for secondary schools.
