VDM vs Blord: Social Media ‘Cruise’ Gone Bad
This generation of young Nigerians have been getting away with so many crimes online under what they term as ‘cruise’ and sometimes ’dragging’.

They defame, malign and spread malicious and damaging things about public and private figures while hiding under this stupid umbrella they call ‘cruise’. Even when some are held to account and arrested by the aggrieved parties like the ongoing court case involving that young lady who allegedly ‘demarketed’ a popular tomato paste brand among others, these young people have refused to learn their lessons. They are still busy ‘cruising’ online.

And so, social media personality, Martin Otse aka VeryDarkBlackMan(VDM) and Chief Linus Williams, a self acclaimed billionaire aka Blord started the drama that led to the temporary incarceration of Blord in a correctional facility, as a ‘cruise’.

From abusing each other and even their families, the whole thing degenerated to the point that Blord allegedly crossed the criminal red line without realising it. A federal court Judge decided it was time to put a stop to the madness before one of them commits murder. And that is why Blord is presently cooling his heels at Kuje prison, and he will be there till April 26 pending his bail application after his alleged criminal charges of defamation, forgery among others were read to him on April 1, a day celebrated worldwide as ‘Fools Day’. He may have thought the whole thing was April Fool when the judge made the pronouncement the he be locked up, until the cold handcuffs clamped his wrists and was led into the correctional facility transport vehicle popularly called ‘Black Maria’.

VDM has been all over the place celebrating his momentary victory and no one would blame him. Blord, despite his loud boasts on video in the past that he had three SANs(Senior Advocates of Nigeria) under his payroll; he had connections in high places bla bla bla, was sent to prison like a wet chicken.

The moral lesson here is, when you are deemed to have broken the law, not even president Tinubu can save you from prison unless he grants you a presidential pardon, and that is after your conviction. Well, the matter is in court, so, let Blord’s three SANs free him and earn their money or…

Smart Gal, That Blessing C.E.O
T4T decided not to show any interest in the case of one loquacious social media girl, abi na lady sef, popularly called Blessing C.E.O when she claimed she had ‘stage 4’ cancer and sought public donations.
Days after, when some ‘over sabi’ Nigerians started questioning the veracity of her claim, T4T’s antenna stood up. The girl started explaining herself in different videos and her stories started changing. The red flag began to fly at full mast.

After watching the video of her interview by a popular private TV station, where a female medical doctor was grilling her like it was a Senate committee hearing, T4T came to the conclusion, that that girl abi na lady, e be like say na fundraiser she do. That Medical Doctor’s facial expression at a point was telling viewers, “nor let me slap you o”. She thoroughly busted all her claims, boxed her into a corner and Blessing the C.E.O became frustrated and about to get angry. She did not come to that interview prepared and so, was parrying every question, trying to be smart by half.

People claimed she had raised over a 100 million naira but she admitted to ‘only’ 12 to 13 million naira in that interview. This is not T4T’s submission, but from what the medical doctor said, our dear Blessing does not have cancer, not even a stage one!

She bluntly declined to submit herself for an independent examination and or make public her medical reports, as it amounts to invading her privacy she said, but she fit collect public money abi?

IG Of Police Disu, There Is Plenty Work On Your Table!
T4T has always been of this opinion that even if an angle was seconded to earth to be the Inspector General of Police in Nigeria, the force will still never be rid of the high level corruption and unethical acts by its men and officers.
The latest video making the rounds of some policemen who attempted(or even) extorted and brutalised some young men during a stop and search operation is a testament to T4T’s assertion. If one of the young men was not secretly recording the ugly incident, we would never have got to see what those policemen did. It is a crying shame. That was pure armed robbery in a build up stage.

The police authorities according to reports, have identified and ordered the men involved to report to force headquarters, Abuja. T4T must be frank here, this may be the last the Nigerian public will get to hear about the case. The policemen may be redeployed to another state, probably stripped of their ranks and they will be more vicious because this time, they will be angry and bitter and na we(public) go hear am. Not until any of the policemen caught in such acts are sent to prison, nothing will change.

The police force is rotten. T4T has been to different police divisions across Lagos, officers brazenly ask for money for bail of family members and friends like it is legal. Some DPOs and top ranking officers are even in on the take.
So, if the new IG of Police, Tunji Disu wants the public to have confidence in his administration, he should show some signs that he can sanitize the institution, but T4T reserves his doubts until he begins to see some positive signs beginning with the present case.
