With his latest single titled, Gimme Dat, music sensation, Pablo Vicky D, obviously has saved his best of this year for the last.

The wave making song will give music lovers something to cheer in the new year.

The singer also released an impressive video of the single. He told The Guardian that music means everything to him. “Music is my life and I would not trade it for anything. I have always been a music lover and I discovered that I could make my own music when I was 16 that’s how it started for me,” he said.

PVD, as he is popularly known, who is currently signed to the label, HHG Records, believes he has what it takes to keep people dancing on their feet for as long as possible.

His friendly and easy nature coupled with his humour shines through his music in seamless fash ion, creating an almost instant connection with his listener.

PVD started out as a rapper much to the dislike of his mother who has since embraced his talent due to the significant strides he has made over the years.

According to PVD, “I have confidence in the power of my music based on how it is received by the public but I also draw inspiration from other music heavy weights like Wizkid and Davido.”

He added, “I admire Wizkid and I’m inspired by his story and the fact that he keeps pushing the African sound to the world, I respect them both for that, that is also why another of my single, Mine, directed by Justin Campos, a South African Director has that Afrobeats vibe.”
