Fresh deadly banditory attack in Kano have disrupted communal activities in Rogo local government area of the state, leaving one Alumajir Killed.

The suspected kidnappers also abducted Alh. Abdullahi Beli, Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC in Rogo local government area during the attack Monday evening.

Eyewitness revealed that the APC Chairman was abducted in his house during an overnight invasion at his Beli village near Zarewa town.

The onslaught of the criminals which triggered pandemonium in the village led to sporadic shooting and killing of a young Almajir boy.

Confirming the development, State Publicity Secretary of APC Auwalu Sojo told The Guardian that the unfortunate incident ensued Monday evening.

Soja revealed that the party Chairman was whisked away from his family in Beli village few moment after he returned from a party engagement in Zarewa, a nearby community Monday evening.

The APC spokesperson disclosed that Beli is still in the hands of his abductors, he confirmed that rescue search team of security agencies have been deployed after formal notification.

The onslaught of banditory attack in Kano have left several communities in devastation in recent time, with account of five killed in less than a week.

Incidentally, the security threat is unfolding few days to the lift of embargo on political campaign across party line ahead of 2027 general election.

Few days ago, Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rantan ward, Bebeji local government area of Kano State, Alh. Garba Buba was killed by gunmen in the state.

Buba was killed Sunday night along side another resident identified as Sulaiman Zunduma after the suspected hoodlums invaded their Rantan community.

According to Hamza, the late APC ward chairman was shot in his house but later confirmed dead at the hospital. He added that Suleiman Zundum, who was also shot during the attack, died instantly.

“On Sunday night kidnappers attacked our town, Rantan, where they shot Alhaji Garab Buha, the APC ward chairman in Rantan, who later died in a hospital. They also killed another resident, Sulaiman Zunduma. We pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcoming and heals the injured.

Before the killing of Buba, three residents of Chiromawa in Garum-Mallam local government area were also killed by suspected bandits.

Confirming the attack to journalists, Chairman of Garun Malam Local Government Area, Alhaji Aminu Salisu Kadawa, revealed that the assailants killed three and injured five.

The council Chairman also confirmed the abduction of Sarkin Noman Jihar Kano, Alhaji Yusuf Nadabo Chiromawa, during the attack on Chiromawa community.

Meanwhile, the police said the Sarki Noman Alh. Yusuf Nadabo has been rescued from the kidnappers and returned to his family unhurt. The command is yet to officially react to the killing of Abdullahi Beli, the APC Chairman in Rogo local government area of the state.
