The Federal Government may soon review the embargo it placed on the use of dynamites by construction companies handling major road projects in the country.

The Minister of State for Power, Works and Housing, Mustapha Baba Shehuri, stated this in Maiduguri, Borno State, yesterday, during an inspection tour of government projects in the northeast.

Shehuri said the ministry would liaise with the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) to lift the ban on the use of dynamites, to enhance speedy completion of projects.

Recall that government placed an embargo on the use of dynamites by firms at the height of attacks by Boko Haram.
