In celebration of the milestone of its 30 years of existence, Leventis Foundation Nigeria has proposed a N2million seed money for business pursuits in agriculture.

Executive Director of the Foundation, Dr. Hope Usieta, who disclosed this in a parley to announce activities for the 30th anniversary of the foundation, said the money was meant for those with great ideas in agribusiness.

According to him, there will be a formal call to present a business plan for the “LFN@30 Agribusiness Pitch” – a platform for people with great ideas to win up to N2 million seed money for their business pursuits in Agriculture.

He stressed that the event themed: “Three Decades of Service & Enhanced Livelihoods”, was to reflect the Foundation’s commitment to society in its continued efforts to give back and create well-meaning lives for participants of its training courses.

While imploring stakeholders to support and participate in the monumental celebrations, Dr. Usieta, informed that the purpose behind the celebrations was to highlight the milestones achieved over the three-decade period of the Leventis Foundation Nigeria’s existence.

Other events lined up for the celebration, he said, include stakeholder discourse sessions, a detailed Documentary of the Foundation’s milestones, and agricultural exhibitions featuring present and past students of the training schools.
