Mamuda Group boosts local content with new beverage

Mamuda Group Ltd, a carbonated drink manufacturer has unveiled Pop Cola soft drink in Kano.

The firm’s Chairman, Hassan Hammoud during the product unveiling stated that “following the mandates of both the Federal and Kano State governments to support diversification in the production of goods, Mamuda Group launched Pop Cola to compete with beverage companies of foreign nomenclatures”.

Hammoud stated that “with daily output of six million bottles, Mamuda Group ensures production and distribution of Pop Cola, Pop Water and Infinite Power energy drink”.

He further added that “with extremely satisfying beverage product formula, appropriate packaging, branding, and a world-class manufacturing site, the prominence of Pop Cola has been registered in every state of the country.”

The grand finale launching of Pop Cola featured the unveiling of Super Eagle’s Captain, Ahmed Musa as the brand ambassador.

Present at the unveiling occasion were members of the Board of Directors: Nasser Hammoud, Namir Hammoud, Ghassan Elamin, Mohammed Elamin and Ali Elamin.

Chairman Mamuda Group, Hassan Hammoud further disclosed that “at the 42nd Kano Intl Trade Fair 2021, Pop Cola won the Best Beverage Company of the Fair and Kano State Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA) presented the award to Dr. Nadim Matraji, Advisor to the Chairman.
