MAN issues guidelines to members as factories re-open
With the relaxation of lockdown by the Federal Government, the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has urged members to adhere strictly to the safety protocols issued by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), as factories resume operations.
According to the Acting Director-General of MAN, Ambrose Oruche, the safety protocol should be adhered to in order to avoid disruptions in production.
Oruche urged member-companies to develop an infectious disease preparedness action plan to reduce the risk of exposure in the workplace and communicate it to all staff members.
“While we appreciate the concern of the government at the various levels to contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus, the MAN will also prevail on members to adhere to all precautionary measures such as social distancing, use of face masks, washing of hands and provision of sanitizers at work places”, he added.
