Nigeria set for e-insurance conference in Lagos
Key stakeholders in the insurance and the Information Communication Technology (ICT), are to converge at a one day conference, with the aim of dialoguing on how to use ICT to deepen insurance penetration in Nigeria.
E-Insurance is fast gaining ground in many parts of the world, as Internet penetration increases, with many businesses using the virtual platform to boost sales and enhance visibility.
The event tagged, E-Insurance Conference, with a theme: “Driving Insurance Penetration with Information and Communication Technologies,” will bring together corporate organisations, ICT experts, insurance experts, academia, consumers of insurance products and industry regulators to discuss how to use technology to increase the sale of insurance products in Nigeria.
The Conference, the first of its kind in the country, which is scheduled to hold in Lagos, on March 23, is been organised by Pinet Informatics Limited, the first Internet Service Provider in Nigeria, in collaboration with major stakeholders in the insurance and ICT industries.
