Torilo launches digital solution to enable SMEs thrive in Nigeria

Torilo Nigeria has launched Bizedge, a digital solution, to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and other entrepreneurs to solve operational bottlenecks crippling businesses in the society.

Speaking during the product launch in Lagos at the weekend, the Chief Executive Officer/Head of Design, Torilo Nigeria, Oluwaseun Farinre, explained that Bizedge is a suite of applications that focuses on helping businesses solve bottlenecks ranging from people management, asset management, accounts, payroll and getting further insights into how their businesses are run.

Farinre said the goal is to help businesses thrive with analytic tool management, adding that with the solution being launched, business owners can understand their products from all end as well as know the loopholes and bridge the gaps.

He said, while statistics show that Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs) make up about 80 per cent of the Nigerian economy currently, Bizedge focuses on helping SMEs afford the ideal processes to run their businesses.

“There are many other tools out there, but Bizedge is built for the Nigerian businesses to support businesses in an affordable way.

“Right now we are focusing on small and medium scale businesses, we do hope to go corporate to enter the enterprise mode. This would include the freelancer, one man business to 10-100 men business and we do hope we can expand and scale beyond Nigeria to Africa and hopefully in the nearest future, Europe,” be said.

Speaking on how the product will help stop businesses from liquidating, Farinre said, while some of the reasons businesses fail is due lack of proper management and lack of insights, Bizedge seeks to help people understand and manage their business processes better.

“You don’t have to be concerned about the large bulk of paperwork, the traditional process of tracking assets and paying salaries to your employees among others. Bizedge helps business owners reduce those stress and help you get better,” he added.

The Product Manager, Torilo Nigeria, Aderinola Adebanjo, said the uniqueness of the Bizedge solution is the consolidation of all the applications towards solving problems in businesses in order to make them thrive.
