At 372, Owoeye Jesudunsin tops 2026 UTME as JAMB unveils best candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has unveiled the top candidates in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin emerging as the highest scorer countrywide with an impressive 372 out of 400 points.

JAMB released the data during its 2026 Policy Meeting on Admission in Abuja on Monday.

The female candidate, Jusudunsin, who sat for the exam in Ogun State and hails from Ekiti, listed Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) as her first-choice programme.

Following closely behind Jesudunsin is Enwere Kingsley Ikenna (male) from Imo State , who garnered 370 points and applied to NILE University of Nigeria to study Computer Science.

In third place is Bamisile Ayomide Emmanuel from Ondo State with 369 points, applying to Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) to study Software Engineering.
